I was born in England and graduated from Manchester University with a B.A (Hons.) in Modern History with Economics
After graduation I worked as a researcher and writer of schoolbooks for the British Department of Education. Afterwards, I worked as a freelance writer of publicity materials for various educational institutions and businesses.
In addition to offering documentation consultancy services to software application companies, I have written extensively for both commercial and non-profit sector Websites.
In addition to my freelance technical writing work, I worked for a number of years as an employee of ICQ. My responsibilities included writing and designing materials for the Wireless section of their Website, for example, product descriptions, FAQs, user manuals and “Quick-start” guides. I also designed posters and handouts for trade exhibitions.
