I started in banking as a teller. This position gives you the basic understanding of how most things work in banking.I have worked in loan accounting working with general ledger accounts in order to balance the accounts, as well as locate and correct errors that were made at the branch. I have worked back office in a branch assisting customers with questions about their accounts as well as processing payments and loans. I have also worked as a loan processor in mortgage, approving the loans and getting all documents together and ready for closing. I have been a closer at a mortgage company as well, preparing the closing package and sending it to the attorneys' offices. I am currently employed as a Compliance Analyst.
