I can teach you a few simple techniques that will turn any losing player into a break-even or winning player, if you will just follow them.
As an example of my teaching method, let me ask you, "What do you think is the most expensive thing you can take to a casino with you?" No, it's not your wife (or husband), or your credit card or checkbook. The most expensive thing you can take to a casino is a good luck charm!
Why?
Because winning consistently in casinos or at poker have little to do with luck, and everything to do with understanding the odds and probabilites present, the rules of the game, and understanding a few simple concepts about solid strategic play.
Ask me questions such as, "Which major, popular online poker room is loaded with cheaters and should be avoided? Can you prove this?" (I can, and can tell you where it's safe to play and why.)
"What is the surefire way to tell that someone is bluffing in a live (non-online) game?" (There is a simple prinicple regarding behavior at the table that tells you whether you should call their bluff or fold your flush.)
I can teach you a simple exercise that will increase your ability to read your opponents hands in Texas Hold-em with remarkable accuracy. If you're paying off too many hands at the river, you need to learn this easy exercise, and start practicing it!

I have been playing poker professionally in the card rooms of Las Vegas and California since 1987, and online since 2000. I also played full-time on (what is now known as) the World Poker Tour, winning numerous events and titles (see details in my Qualifications.) I have written articles for the Card Player, Poker Player and other miscellaneous gaming publications, as well as ghost-written two VERY important poker guides on behalf of a well-known expert theorist in poker. My particular expertise is in Limit and No-Limit Hold-em and tournament theory and strategy, as well as poker psychology and tells. I take a particular interest in anti-cheating methods and technology and can tell you how to avoid being cheated yourself, in home games or online.
I have made a steady hourly rate of $18.56 an hour in some of the toughest $10/$20 games in the world, spread daily at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. My $15/$30 hourly rate is about $24, and my $30/$60 Bellagio hourly rate is $43.19 (Those daily games are VERY tough!) My lifetime in-the-money average in live (non-online) tournament play is 14% (average entrants per event is 206); one-table satellite win percentage is 23%. I win nearly 1 in 4 one-table satellites I play, average 9.3 players per satellite.) I average about $25 an hour playing online in a variety of limits, game types, and tournaments.
