My favorite areas are medications (interactions, dosages,side effects, etc) wound care, thyroid underdiagnosis,and legal aspects of long term care. I am a huge advocate of the patient,and will tell you honestly if you are not receiving the care you deserve, or if your patient rights are being breached. Many, many times the medications you are taking are not the best for you,and many times doctors do not listen...I will.
My company is a cleaning company, and we clean primarily for the elderly. We maintain a database with their diagnoses, physicians, pharmacies, and friends/family. When we got to clean, we monitor the client medically as well. The goal is to form a bridge between home and healthcare, enabling seniors to stay home as long...and as safely...as possible while enabling them to maintain independence and pride.

I have over 10 years working as a licensed nurse in all phases of nursing (home, hospital, long term care, hospice, military hospital...)including research, and roughly 24 yyears experience in healthcare in general. I have also owned my own cleaning business for 4 years. I am currently finishing up my advanced degree in healthcare administration as well.
I received commendations from the U.S. government for my clinical, assessment, and organizational skills, and received many letters of commendation from patients and their families for my assistance.
