I have been involved in home care and hospice for over 20 years, as both a clinician and an administrator. Through my work in hospitals, nursing homes and home care and hospice agencies, I have gained substanial expertise in the challenges people face in negotiating these systems as well as the emotional and social effects of dealing with disease and loss. I had providing counseling services to hundreds of individuals and families, helping them adjust to change and loss, plan for an unexpected future, and deepen self awareness and appreciation for themselves and their relationships with important others in their lives.
