Responsibilities include:
- Audit planning and risk assessment
- Developing audit programs and preparation of audit work papers as per the International Auditing Standards
- Evaluating internal controls, accounting and information systems
- Delegation of job responsibilities and supervision of audit staff
- Co-ordination with professionals of various fields like legal, actuarial and IT experts and decision-making for timely resolution of critical reportable matters
- Application of various financial models, ratio and other analytical tools to audit balances
- Evaluation of audit queries and coordination with the client
- Evaluating internal control systems, identifying control weaknesses and making appropriate recommendations to the management
- Monitoring of several projects both on the field and off the filed
- Finalization of audit and drafting audit reports and management letters
- Leading teams of about 3 – 8 people
- Liaison with clients
- Management of multiple audit engagements simultaneously

Experience & Qualifications
|
|
5 years experience in a Big 4 accounting firm- PwC. I have been working with PwC for more than five years. During these five years, i obtained diverse experience of cross-section business sectors including telecommunication, leasing, banking, construction, consultancy, HR management, logistics and government sectors. I have also worked with PwC Abu Dhabi for more than 6 months. Also, I have supervised many important assignments in PwC that were first of their kind in PwC Islamabad.
