My husband ran his own construction company for 10 years and I did all of the bookkkeeping, paying subcontractors, dealing with the bank on construction loans, doing all federal and state forms for employees, and anything else that fell into my lap. I was also an Office Manager for a vacuum sales company. I managed over 30 salesmen, and did all paperwork for their sales, plus all office bookkeeping. I am currently employed for an Architect as an Office Manager. I do all of his bookkeeping, marketing, A/P, A/R, Payroll, and preparing blueprints for clients.
