I've been reading cards and "intuiting" for others since I was three years old. Although I have had three "near-death" experiences, it is not due to them that I am intuitive. It is simply my nature to feel and see things that many other people do not. I was brought up in an orthodox home and began life as a religious child, but later became more spiritual than religious.
I love the beauty and feel of cards, mainly because I was taught how to "read" a regular playing deck by my grandmother when I was just three years old. Shuffling cards became comforting.
Soon I was seeing images from people's lives as I shuffled the cards. It was spooky as a kid, and made many adults rather nervous, so I kept a lot to myself until 1972 when I started reading for the public.
Nowadays I can use most any tarot or oracle deck (or none at all.) I don't need cards to answer questions, just feel relaxed, but I love some of the beautiful modern oracle decks and so keep four of them on my desk at all times.
I also read energy of and around the human energy field ("auras",)
by colors, forms and symbolism.
This is often helpful in finding personal "blocks" or various problems needing the client's attention.
