Good expertise in cultivation and identification of Microbial pathogens.As I have worked with vancomycin resistant enterococci, I am very much acquainted with multidrug resistant bacteria, their handling, preservation and characterization. Good experience in drug susceptibility testing including determination of MIC and their interpretation.

I am a consultant Medical Microbiologist. After finishing my Masters degree in 2004 from Manipal University, India, I joined a Postgraduate and Research center in Microbiology and Biotechnology at Bangalore, there I was involved in teaching postgraduate students and carrying out research work in Medical Microbiology and finished PhD work. My research work is on vancomycin resistant enterococcal isolates, vanA and vanB gene characterization. Later I joined Manipal group of Medical education and Hospitals as an assistant professor. Here I am teaching Medical students and taking care of Diagnostic Microbiology laboratory.
