I mainly taught elementary math and reading in the special education environment. I used general education required materials and revised the material to suit the student's needs. I also worked with general education teachers to provide the needed materials for the students. As a special education teacher, I wrote programs, worked with parents, teachers and other special education teachers to assure the student's educational success.

Experience & Qualifications

I worked eight years in the special education enviroment teaching and working with students and their parents. I also have experience in the business field in the area of data processing and tutoring teachers in using computer programs for education. I also have experience teaching in the general education environment as a substitute teacher. For two semesters, I taught word processing, data entry and how to use a spread sheet to adults in an out reach program.
