I am a licensed mental health practitioner and a certified professional counselor. My background includes an education degree as well as a degree in art. I've earned a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. I have attended The Theraplay Instittute through the intermediate level, EMDR beyond the second level as well as training in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

As a licensed therapist for the past 12 years, I have worked with families in a variety of settings: home, office and the arena. My experience has led me to work extensively with families experiencing difficulties with behavior and regulation in children. I have had considerable training in child trauma, dysregulation and attachment issues. In working with parents, I empower them to do Brain Gym, and other activities to help with their child's development and regulation. I help families to find new strategies that work while building integrity in all members.

Experience & Qualifications

I have worked with children and families for the past 25 years; 12 years have been as a therapist working with families, individuals and children. During this time I have worked regularly as a consultant for Job Corps, Head Start and the public schools. I have conducted training in child development, attachment and parenting. In my work I have seen children of all ages and worked with parents dealing with a wide variety of issues.
