As a childhood polio survivor Terry has developed excellent critical thinking skills and exceptional problem solving techniques. Terry's early career involved fifteen years as a mental health counsellor in the community and inner city hospital. He later switched careers which involved working with both federal and provincial governments as a policy and research analyst. He started his own consulting business in 2000 and focused on working with businesses looking for new markets. His understanding and knowledge regarding the psychology of consumers combined with his personal experience of overcoming obstacles have made him a sought after speaker. Some of his previous clients include:

Developed online cirriculum for california State University;
Search Engine Optimization project manager for numerous websites,
Consultant to the Brain Injury Association of Alberta and the Calgary Autism Society on the application of adaptive technology.
