Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a floral designer with over 17 years experience, my expertise being wedding and function design. I also run workshops which I hope are fun and informative. You don't have to want to be a professional florist to be passionate about flowers and using them to create wonderful designs for anyone and any reason.
I also run workshops for papercraft. You may have a special reason to want to create your own cards/invitations/table plans - i.e a wedding or special birthday party or even a work related event. I am happy to offer online workshops and guidance for any element of floral design - weddings/ funerals/ functions/ everyday flowers/ modern or any specific genre you need.

Experience & Qualifications

Whether you want to broaden your knowledge regarding floristry as a hobby, or whether you would like to gain that knowledge to be able to create designs that are commercially acceptable, my workshops will give you a good base to work from. I don't have a set list of workshops as I think that each person has an understanding and interest in different elements of design. Some of you may like things modern and simply, others may prefer traditional English country designs. All my work sheets are backed up with my personal support, advice and direction. From creating a simple basket to planning you wedding flowers, there is no idea too big or too small.
Funeral work, I always find, can be very fulfilling. When we lose someone, the flowers are our last gift to them. To have the creative ability to design and produce that final gift can be a great help in the grieving process. Again, what you want to achieve can be discussed and tackled.
Papercraft is another area where my workshops have enabled people to go away and create their own wedding stationery, their own seating plans with confidence knowing that they don't look 'home made', but look unique and professional.
Of course, sometimes, both of these crafts, work hand in hand. If you have a special birthday party you are arranging, how nice to be able to set your theme and design and carry it through absolutley everything. Invites, table plans, flowers, thank you's, the small personal details that only you can provide and that match everything perfectly.
