After receiving my doctorate degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, I worked at a federal agency where I gained valuable insight into what makes a grant application successful. I am currently a senior faculty at a renown medical center in New York where I am responsible for a multidisciplinary research division. As a consultant, I have written 41 articles on health, education and science in the peer-reviewed and popular press. I also have written 12 federal grant submissions for other academic institutions and organizations, all of which were successfully reviewed and 9 received funding. The total funding that I have raised adds up to over $12 million.
