I can also help you to format your paper in MLA style. If you are having difficulty incorporating dialogue or exposition into a creative piece or you feel permanently "stuck," I will help you get moving again.
When I complete a full edit, which means I will be proofreading for and editing sentence-level errors as well as critiquing your content, I will return your paper with a typed, detailed analysis of strengths and weaknesses I perceived in the work. I will offer suggestions, questions, and guidelines for improvement, and I will always correct any and all sentence-level errors. I can also answer any simple questions you have or offer a quick and easy suggestion based on information you provide me in an email.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a certified English teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in English. I am twice published and have won distinctive awards for both my creative and academic writing while in college and graduate school. I wrote my Master’s thesis on satirical rhetoric, where I specifically focused on the subtle nuances of voice in a piece of writing as a means of conveying sarcasm, irony, and suspense. I have four and a half years experience teaching university-level freshman composition and high school English and literature. In my composition classes, I provided extensive written feedback to students on progress throughout the semester. I’m willing to assist middle and high school as well as college and university students, professionals and those seeking suggestions for their more personal writing.
