My Expert Service
|
|
Hello everyone! Thepeoplescoder here. I'm just a regular guy with a love for programming, mathematics, and computer hardware. I am currently a student majoring in Computer Science, but although I don't have an advanced degree (yet), don't let that scare you away. I am a highly respected Computer Science tutor on my campus, and specialize in helping students in their first two years in the subject. I have been writing code since 1996, and have experimented with numerous languages such as GW-BASIC, C, C++, C#, Pascal, Assembly Language, FORTAN, Euphoria, Python, Ruby, Visual Basic 3.0, VB.NET, and so on. The languages I am most comfortable with are C, C++, C#, and Java. I'm one of those people with an undying curiosity about things computer related; I've always had a liking for taking programs apart and figuring out how and why they work. I feel right at home with console applications, GUI applications in either .NET or Swing, and every now and then try my hand writing code at the operating system level, so there's not too much that intimidates me. I believe in trying to keep programming simple; although I can explain concepts in an academically rigorous fashion, I strive to explain everything as best as I can in plain English. I can provide homework help, or if not for a homework assignment, can provide coding solutions at reasonable rates. I specialize in debugging, pinpointing and removal of error-prone and redundant code, optimization, data structures, and object oriented programming.
My five rules of programming are:
1. Assume nothing.
2. You are always in control.
3. Don't ever over think anything, EVER.
4. Be as lazy as possible.
5. INDENT YOUR CODE PROPERLY!
I strive to code by these rules, and should you choose to get to know me, you'll understand why. Hope to help you soon.
Take care.
