Experience & Qualifications

ThirdEye establisted at 2008, it is started as a graduation project sponsored by CMIC (Microsoft innovation lab in Cairo). We proposed an automatic soccer video summarization engine which relies on an improved algorithm for the detection of replay shots which delineate interesting events.
In 2009 we published a paper about this project and it has been accepted to be presented on The International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
ICIP is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing. ICIP 2009, the 16th in the series that has been held annually since 1994, it brings together leading engineers and scientists in image and video processing from around the world. Research frontiers in fields ranging from traditional image processing applications to evolving multimedia and video technologies. We have 5 years of experience in developing applications in fields like image processing, networking, web services using a variety of technologies like java/C++/php/matlab/opencv/symbian C++
we also provide Network services and solutions that are concerned with Cisco devices. we are certified ccna and ccnp as well.
Our Projects:-
1) Automatic Soccer Video Summarization:
we have done a research project for Microsoft, and the results were published in ICIP 2009 check the following link

It was an automated system for soccer summarization that has the ability to provide output summary for three type of events (goal, goal attempts, and other events like fouls, injuries). Three championships were used for evaluation and testing proposed UEFA 2008, Africa Championships League (FCL) 2008 and EURO 2008.
JSE/imageJ/JMF were the technologies used in this project.
2) Automatic human age estimation
we are currently developing a fully automated system that can estimate human ages from images, project is sponsored by mircosoft and the resulting work will be published for ICIP 2010 (china).
C++/opencv are the technologies used in this project.
3) 3D Reconstruction of Medical Images
This is an application that reconstructs 2-D CT scan images in 3D space for better visualization and to help doctors for better understanding the CT scanned object
Java3D/ImageJ were the technologies used in this project.
4) a portal system for Center of Studies and Development of Computers and Information System .
JSP/Servelts/ajax/sql/ were the technologies used.
we developed other applications in game programming, networking, image processing.
