I began as a distributor in 1996 as a college student. We had triplet girls and I needed a business I could run from home.
After one year I was earning $10k per month in residual commissions. Upon graduation, I was able to pay back all of mine and my wife's student loans with cash.
Now, 12 years later I still earn commissions on sales to customers and reps I met in my first year, and have seen many of my reps obtain freedom and lifestyle they had previously only dreamed about. I successfully launched an existing mlm company into Australia and New Zealand. I am also the president of a new company lauching currently in Japan.
I knew very little about networking when I started, but I sought out and listened to experts who saved me years of mistakes.
Anyone who tells you network marketing is just a get rich quick scheme, has never done it. It is work, but it is rewarding work. I love the industry. I have met many wonderful people and built lasting friendships.
I will always be a networker for numerous reasons, income, flexibility, friendships, personal improvement, and a belief that ANYONE who truly wants something has a chance to get it in MLM.
