My Expert Service
|
|
I have actively participated in 35 harvests, starting in the Salinas Valley as a temporary lab technician in 1974. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative winemakers in California and participate in all styles of winemaking. I have extensive experience in Barrel aging and fermentation as well as full knowledge of oak alternative use. I have experience with Micro-oxidation and building structure with tannin management. I directed the California Dessert program (Port & Sherry) for Constellation and managed a team of winemakers for over ten years, producing 12 million gallons per year of still wines. I have a very large network of industry contacts and can provide solutions to most winemaking challenges. I recently retired to Mariposa where I grow and produce a Souzao dessert wine.
