I was one of the First Responders during the aftermath of the many Hurricanes helping to counsel the many victims. Giving Emotional support as well as meeting the medical needs from the many injuries. Working with Battered Woman in many of the area Hospitals and Womans Shelters helping Woman find a better life for them and their children. Working closely with Elder Patients and Families that care for them and the issues that arise with the Elder Patients mental and physical status that is changing. Helping Families deal with the guilt of placing a loved one in a Nursing Home or Extended Care.
