My Expert Service

Mental Health is Mental Wealth. It is bliss, peace and power for the mind, body and soul. I discovered cures for emotional and mental illnesses and afflictions based on ancient principles of healing. I have done extensive research in this area and counsel clients on how to overcome minor and major mental health problems and even alcohol and drug addictions through the power of prayer and fasting and vibrant nutrition. As I mentioned, this is what I call "ancient cutting-edge stuff". Much of my information comes from first-hand experience, health texts and reports, health research, and powerful prayer and fasting passages from the Holy Bible. I also have witnessed many present-day examples of people who have been healed.

Experience & Qualifications

Excerpts of my story have been published in The New York Times, The NY Daily News and The New Yorker magazine.
I've also been featured in broadcasts on NBC's Weekend Today, Leonard Lopate's NPR radio show and I've spoken at Yale University, as well as at many organizations and churches.
My Story: In college I won a beauty contest and danced on the road with Lionel Richie and The Commodores as "Miss Brick House" to promote their hit record of the day.
After touring part of the east coast with them I went back to school at OSU.
I graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism and became a radio and part-time TV reporter with an NPR affiliate and got "fan" letters from listeners. Suddenly, I had a mental breakdown and was diagnosed as manic depressive.
Soon after I left the NPR/ PBS station in Ohio and flew to Hollywood where I got a job in the studio office at Motown Hitsville studios. It was an exciting music-history making time, at the height of preparations for the Motown 25 TV special. I met many celebrities including Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Jermaine Jackson, Rick James, executive Suzanne de Passe, and Motown founder, Berry Gordy. I also of course saw Lionel Richie again at Hitsville studios, where everday, work seemed like a party.
The excitement escalated even higher when negotiations started for Michael Jackson to come back to Motown to appear on the TV special. And he did--with his spectacular rendition of "Billie Jean" which shot his career into the stratosphere.
I was enjoying my time at Motown tremedously and had planned to write a magazine article on my experiences, when mysteriously and much to my dismay, I suffered a series of subsequent breakdowns because of manic depression. I also was derailed because of addictions--including alcohol and cocaine.
For 12 agonizing years, I was in and out of mental hospitals and rehabs. At the time I was prescribed and took Haldol, Mellaril, Lithium, Thorazine and Elavil, sometimes all at once.
Finally in 1998, I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Healer of my life and discovered His cure for mental illness and alcohol and drug addictions--prayer with fasting.
As I result, I've been healed through this miraculous restorative power, yet it is a miracle I've seen repeated as people apply the principles. I have not taken psychotropic drugs nor have I been hospitalized since 1998. I've also been healed from alcohol and cocaine addicitons.
I've extensively researched and studied health, nutrition, and the Bible and other ancient texts. Many people have asked me how I was healed from those diseases that often carry a "life sentence".
To date, I've written several articles including "The Power of Prayer and Fasting in Overcoming Mental Illness" and thousands of people have read them. People e-mail me and call me from all over the United States.
The four articles I've written on the cure for emotional and mental illnesses have been posted on the internet and readers world-wide have taken it upon themselves to translate them.
Often someone will post one of my articles or feature one of them on sites such as bipolardepression.com.
To date, I'm a published co-author in two anthologies. One of them is the book: IN TIMES LIKE THESE: HOW WE PRAY, (which had 50 contributing writers including the literary icon, Norman Mailer, and his views on prayer.)
Currently I'm working on the manuscripts for two more books: MISS BRICK HOUSE: A MEMOIR OF MOTOWN, MONEY, MEN AND MADNESS and a how-to book: THE CURE FOR MENTAL ILLNESS.
Millions of people are greatly suffering and clamoring for answers that will set them free. I discuss many aspects of "alternative" healing, including an ancient key: the power of prayer and fasting.
