1.Worked for Iomega Client
Was involved in settting of Testing Lab, documentation of Test Plan/ Test Specifications/ Test Execution and Execution of test cases for NAS Appliances (P850m and P800m) of Iomega.
Following was done in the testing of NAS Appliance–Involved in Setup of Lab for testing of NAS Appliance.Documented Test Plan for the following features-Teaming of NICs, LED Functionality, Hot Swap, USB 1.1 Connectivity, Reliability Testing, Performance Testing, CIFS/NFS Interoperability, Network Protocol Testing, SMTP, Backup Software implementation.Documented Test Specification and Test Execution document for the above mentioned features.Executed testing for the given features of NAS Appliance.
2. Involved in Design, Construct and Implement the package for defragmentation of 2nd Ext2 Filesystem for RedHat Linux 7.2.
Following was done in the Defragmentation Utility for 2nd Extended filesystem –Finding the system information using the superblock.Using the inode table, inode bitmap, block bitmap and ext2 group descriptors to find the various files, which were in the fragmented state.Defragment the regular files, which were found in a fragmented state.
3. Involved in Design, Construct, Implement for developing an encrypted filesystem on 2nd Extended filesystem of RedHat Linux 7.0
Encrypted Filesystem on 2nd Extended Filesystem consisted of the following -Implementing a new system call for read/write/ open/close operations.Encrypting the data while storing it on the hard disk i.e.by changing the ASCII value of the character being written.Decrypting the data while reading it from the hard disk using the above system calls.
