Work Experience:
•Researching:
I have worked as an Intern Research Officer at the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs (PIIA) from 1 February 2010 till 30 November, 2010.
• Editing and Proof-Reading:
My job was to edit research papers submitted on various topics by scholars of International Relations to the Institute’s internationally recognised quarterly academic journal, Pakistan Horizon.
• Data Collection:
I was In-Charge of the clipping files, which contained news items from all the leading Pakistani English newspaper dailies, coded in accordance to their importance from research point of view for later citations.
I also made monthly chronological data of Pakistan’s foreign affairs, which is published quarterly in its issues.
• Transcription:
I used to transcribe speeches delivered by various renowned national and international scholars at the seminars held regularly at the Institute.
• Writing:
I have also one research article due to be published in the upcoming issue of Pakistan Horizon.
