Many families feel hopeless and overwhelmed when faced with the significant challenges a behaviorally disordered or emotionally disordered child or adolescent present in the home, community, and school. As a therapist, residential program supervisor, day treatment coordinator, clinical supervisor, and associate clinical director, I have been working with adolescents, children and their families helping them in the recovery process of severe emotional and behavioral disorders as well as personality disorders of antisocial and/or borderline personality disorders for over 7 years. I have experience working with a very diverse population of kids and families.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been a therapist since 2002. I have worked with individuals, families, adolescents and children with mental health issues ranging from mild to severe. I have extensive experience working with Severely Emotionally and Behaviorally Disordered Adolescents and Children in Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association and the National Board for Clinical Counselors since 2002. In addition I am an active member of the American Psychological Association since 2004. Additional education includes completion of all academic courses for Ph.D. in Psychology with active work on dissertation at this time.
