I have been employed as Resource Nurse and Case Manager, Pain and Spinal Rehab Center, Jacksonville.Staff RN Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, and also employed as an MICU RN at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville.I have provided assessment and teaching for patients suffering with chronic pain, CVA, Brain injury and Chronic Pain Management.Assisted with physical exams, provided treatment and monitored medication as prescribed by physicians. Provided pre and postoperative education for patients undergoing lumbar or cervical fusion. Other responsibilities included formulation of teaching plans, patient staffing and team conference reports, progress reports and discharge summaries. Also provided insurance case management, mainly Worker's Compensation. Assisted in marketing program to referral sources.
