I am an exceptional, independent instructor and researcher with a specialty in education and disabilities. My ability to work independently, under pressure, and in unique situations are some of my many strengths. I have helped to develop a Information Literacy Skills curriculum for Visually Impaired students. I have expertise in reading and writing Braille, which would assist any company or learning institution in their 508 compliances. I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) which would assist in communication with the Deaf community

Experience & Qualifications

I taught Blind and Deaf children for 31 years as a Media Specialist at the
South Carolina School for the Deaf, Blind and Multihandicapped. I also was born with Cerebral Palsy which effected my speech and coordination. I would like to help those with a disability realize they too can achieve their dreams. I feel like I could help guide them ion this area.
