Bachelor of Science - Psychology; Master of Arts Counseling from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor; Licensed Master Social Worker and Licensed Profesional Counselor. Presently pursuing license as School Counselor License and with plans ro pursue Ph.D. in counnseling psychology.

I participated on committees to develop the license for professional counselor for the State of Michigan. I ahve 25 years experience as a professional licensed counselor. I have provided supervision of professional counselor at my clinic for Waynse State University since 1994.
I have over 30 years in the field of counseling. I have degres form Howard University in pyschology, Master in Counseling from Univeristy of Michigan -Ann Arbor; and presently pursuing a School Counselor License and I will also begin pursuit of a Ph.D. in counseling psychology.
I can assist you with various counseling modalities and requirments of almost any graduate counseling programs.

Experience & Qualifications

I consider my experience in the fields of counseling, criminal justice, psychology and social work which spans over thiry-five years as an asset. My professional development and experience is diverse; career experiences vary from entrepreneur, college counselor, adjunct faculty and faculty member; psychotherapist to social worker in a county jail.
I founded and Director of a mental health / substance abuse clinic for ten years. I was one the first licensed professional counselor to provide mental health services under the counselor license.
I developed my career in a manner that I would have an opportunity to experience various capacities of social services and education. I hold licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master’s Social Worker and Clinical/Macro License. As a result of my diverse work experiences, I came into contact with mature and young adults who received inappropriate or inadequate counseling. These adults’ lives were negatively impacted as a result of receiving inappropriate guidance. In many cases, these young adults paid financially and socially for those errors.
I am also involved with a study at Miami University and Ohio State regarding on the efficacy of online counseling and therapy
