I am appointed on the project of computerization of a department.I am member of team of 3 persons. Our target was to get connect the 36 districts of Punjab via VPN. We have connected to 30 districts and remaining 6 will get connected soon. My technical background is as following:
o Networking devices switches/bridges, Routers, Repeaters, Gateways, and Hubs.
o Networking architecture LANs WANS, Hardware, Software.
o Operating systems Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, Client / Server Environment.
o Networking protocols TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPN Configuration through Router, SMTP, POP, HTTP, DNS, OSI layers.
o Hardware install, integrate, troubleshoot, support. Detailed knowledge of switches, routers, hubs, servers.
o Ability to influence decision-making and communicate ideas to all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
o Goal setting, organization and planning skills. Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills. Strong hardware troubleshooting knowledge in all of the following environments: servers, desktops, laptops, networking equipments, cabling.
o Focus on problem tracking, troubleshooting, and resolution by focusing on primary support area where depth of knowledge is specialized, yet developing a breadth of knowledge in all other areas within the functional product line.

I have passed my CCNA 640-801 and MCP 70-270, 70-290 exams in 2007 after getting the experience in both fields of about 2 years.
I am doing job in the company which deals with the departments/companies to make them computerized. They have hired me and other members of team from reputed institutes. My responsibilities on project is as following:
o Support LAN and WAN.
o Ensuring that hardware and software systems are maintained
o Allocating network resources
o Providing technical support to users with very different Levels of IT knowledge and competence
o Ensuring the most cost effective and efficient use of servers
o Training users – sometimes one-to-one, sometimes in groups
o Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry Standards
