The Pre-chat survey allows you to collect visitor information prior to chatting. It is recommended for use in service/support scenarios, since visitors already expect to provide initial information in order to have their issue resolved.
Some sample Pre-chat surveys questions are:
- Email Address
- User/Account ID
- Order Number or Ticket Number
Where do I set this up?
Surveys are created within each campaign.
- While customizing your chat engagement, click Edit to modify the chat window and surveys.
- Click each tab to edit the surveys.
- Click New survey. You can edit the questions either by clicking the text or by adding a new question.
