Beyond Networking: Connections at Aspire 2015
Aspire 2015 is now officially in the books!
On October 21, LivePerson hosted our day-long, annual un-conference, and I must say, it was better than ever. More than 140 executives, e-commerce experts, call center managers, and more made the trip to NYC to learn how they can join LivePerson in revolutionizing customer service and the way brands interact with consumers.
For this year’s event, we opted for a smaller setting than years past — designed to foster relationship building and more meaningful connections. One company representative called the venue "more intimate and easier to network with others."
In addition to customer panels, product announcements, and our CEO Rob sharing the LivePerson vision of the future and changing service industry, a large part of the agenda included small-format workshop sessions, all focused on messaging, mobile, and delivering more value through the online experience. These were designed for customers to take a deep dive into the topic that were most relevant to their brand and industry. We also hosted nine one-on-one expert stations, where attendees could explore specific subjects with experts in a personal, hands-on way.
In case you missed it, you can live vicariously through our video recap of #LPAspire.
We ended the day with live music from Chuck Prophet (@chuckprophet), while networking and enjoying cocktails — as well as the new connections we formed during the event — all against the illuminated Empire State Building. What’s better than that?
Below, see what a few Aspire attendees had to say about the event:
"I got a lot out of all the sessions through the week and I really appreciate all your hard work to make them happen." – Bankwest
"What an incredible week! The opportunity to meet with the LivePerson team was value enough..." – Westpac
"The convention opened my eyes to an entirely new level of connection and community within LivePerson." – Anonymous
"Appreciate the prep work and thought you guys put on a great event. Well done." – Leading credit card company
Keeping the conversation going (webinars)
If you’re still wondering about a conversation from Aspire, we let attendees submit topics they would like to explore further. We picked some of the most popular requests and developed a webinar series, which started today with "How Surveys Skew Customer Feedback & the Brand New Metric in Town."
- Thursday, Nov. 18: "Mapping Customer Journeys to Improve Experience & Lower Costs"
- Thursday, Dec. 10: "A Look at 2015 Peak Retail & Predictions for 2016"
Thank you to everyone who made this year's Aspire a success! We’re already looking forward to next year.
